Workgroup:

Members of the Workgroup for the technical group for study on renewing and universal pointing system.

In the end of January 2012 Fredie van Dijk and Bas Bouman had a succesfull meeting with Lionel Giraudeau about a converting the french scoring into the linear scoring system, according to the solutions the group decided in Brno. It will soon be possible to have this result printed on the official pedigrees from France, when this are exported to other countries. The workgroup can be very satifised with this solution and we thanks the French Organization very much for there understanding and positive cooperation. During the meeting in Paris the system will be presented for the members of FIERBA.

On the meeting in Brno the linear scoring was discussed. The following traits has been agreed by the members. Each country will try to work out that all are scoring the mentiode traits and France will try to work out a system which will make it possible to compare there system with the linear scoring.

TASKS OF THE WORKGROUP

  1. Describing of the race.
  2. Describing what elements we want to be judged
  3. Compose a list of the abnormalities in our race and what are the consequences of these abnormalities.
  4. How to organize a European wide system of notating the results of the scoring.
  5. Investigate the possibility to introduce the system in the countries that are members of FIERBA.
  6. Make a time schedule for the workgroup.
  7. Try to make a financial overview for the costs that will come.
